Here at Sprouts In-Home Childcare, we are governed by rules set out by the Ministry Of Education.
With so much information to stay up to date with, we've compiled some key information that will help you understand how childcare services operate under the Red traffic light phase.
- All licensed early learning services can open with public health measures in places.
- Children do not need to be vaccinated to attend a licensed early learning service.
- Playgroups can only open with My Vaccine Pass requirements.
- All staff at education services must be vaccinated.
- All parents, caregivers, whānau, and other visitors are encouraged to wear face masks on site.
Physical distancing
Parents and visitors are encouraged to maintain 1-metre distancing from other adults while on site, for example to settle your child, or to view a service.
